Details: So I made the mistake of letting my wife look for a new car before we sold the old one. This car is priced to sell but I am not willing to let it go for nothing. There are many great things about this SUV. There are also a few things that come with a 11 yr old car. I am going to be honest about all of it, the good and the bad. I have many more pictures to offer and will take custom pictures of anything you want to see. What we have here is:2001 Lexus LX 470 w/ 192,000 miles. Tan Leather interior and beige/champagne color exteriro. We have owned the car since new and the mileage is about 50/50 travel/city. It is loaded!! Power everything, heated seats, windows, sunroof, rear side windows, seat memory system. It has a suspension system that adjusts like 4 in ride height as well has a manual hi/low gear shift, and tracation control. It has the Mark Levinison Premium Sound in it w/ a 6 disk changer in the center console. It also has a full touch screen factory navigation system as well as electronic climate control. It also has rear ac and heat plus third row seating. This SUV has seat belts for 8 people! It has the towing package and with its V-8 motor has a towing capacity of 6500lbs. The good things are all of the above features work as expected unless noted below. Tires are Michelin LTX´s. This has been a non-smoking car! AC blows cold both front and rear. All the windows are automatic and work. Cruise control works. Here are the things that are not perfect. There is some scratches and scuffs from 11 years of use. A deer ran into it on the front fender and dented it was well as took out the headlight. Headlight fixed, trim around headlight and dent in fender not fixed. The paint has peeled off of the thin metal insert that holds the rear license plate on. Apparently an common thing due to the plate -bracket being steel and the painted part was aluminum. Unsightly but an easy fix. Small hole in plastic running board on drivers side. Can be seen in pick, and I actually have the piece that came out of it. Again, unsightly but still functional. On the interior, the center console arm rest is almost permantly dirty. The drivers seat has some cracked leather but no deterioation of the seat itself. Most of the rest of the interior is good, couple of scuffs, tears in the trim. The rear seats do come out for more room but fold up nicely for when you need to add a couple of kids on short notice. One speaker has a ´thump´ to it like it has gone bad. Turned the bass down a little and it doesnt do it any more. Exhaust has some leaks, mainly due to clamps loosening, but it isnt loud or obnoxios. The passenger side mirror is like non reflective on about half of it. Think it has something to do with the heated mirrors. What you will be getting is a $70,000 suv worth of features. This car was considered to be as about as luxury as you could buy in 2001. With the exception of some body and interior conditions, all of the features work! I will be sending the car of a $150.00 interior/exterior complete detail in the next week. That will be included in any deal whether you see it before it is cleaned up or after. As I said, I can send more detailed pictures and also happy to answer any questions. I will not be fixing the exterior problems prior to sale. Estimate to fix the deer dent, hole is running board, rear paint by the plate was less than $1000. If you do your research you will find Kelly Blue Book to be between $10,370 and $12,800. This isnt perfect but it is better than ´fair´. Call or email with questions. $11,000. Lexus is toyota´s luxury line and the sc was the Lexus flagship automobile in the nineties. loaded with power seats-- telescopic wheel 12 disc Nakamichi stereo sunroof--traction control pw--pl-cruise. The car is not perfect but a great driver and it needs nothing. I drove the car from OH to the tail of the dragon at the N.C.-- TN border and averaged 23mpg on the highway.
