Details: This is an extremely solid and reliable example of a 1996 Lexus LX 450 with 155,000 miles. It is black with tan leather interior featuring 3rd row seating. While it does show some use over the past 16 years, the car overall is in really good condition and a solid versatile driver. I did my research when originally purchasing the vehicle and this SUV will run for 300,000+ miles if properly maintained. In the past 6 months the following was done to the vehicle to make it ready for the next 150,000 miles...The front/rear differential oils, transfer case oil and engine oil with filter. During oil changes we added 1.5 tubes of Xado to the front and rear differentials and 1 tube to the transfer case. Greased all u-joints and driveshaft slip yokes with Redline CV2. Flushed and vacuum tested/filled the complete coolant system. Replaced rear brake pads, cleaned and lubricated sliders, and exercised caliper pistons. Flushed and bled front/rear brake hydraulics. Flushed power steering oil and added Xado. Drained automatic transmission and filled with D4 and Xado. Locks and all hinges lubed. Replaced tag and front parking lamps (all other lights functional). Load tested car battery and tests well. Adjusted engine timing to factory specs. All other car vitals checked and verified. Total service investment over $2,000 to make it mechanically ´right´.I love this car and actually hate to see it go, but need something a little more fuel efficient. Eibach Pro 1´ lowering springs. HID headlights. Viper 2way alarm with remote start ( 2 controllers). New battery installed few months ago, Timing belt and water pump was changed out at around 145K. Car drives great, engine runs excellent, does not leak any fluds at all. Transmission shifts smooth like it should. It runs and drives like a Lexus should regardless of the milage. Car does have some hail damage, its not horrible but def some hail damage. Both fenders have some damage on them from the 22´ wheels when i first purchase them and had the wrong size tires on them, after the tires were changed out for the correct size i had no more issues but the damage had been done to the fenders. Car is priced very cheap considering all the upgrades that cost me around 5K 3 years ago. Only selling because I have purchased a bigger car for my family and we no longer need this car. This was my daily commutor for the last 4 years and I have never had ANY issues, very reliable regardless of milage as long as you up keep with the mateniance it should last you a long time to come. I understand that the large wheels and system is not for everyone and if you are interested in the car but not the large wheels and sound system i would sell the car without these item and replace with the factory wheels and tires and radio, would sell this way for $5,000PS Didnt have time to wash car, it cleans up very nice.
