These cars were deemed the most durable, high performance coupe´s on the world market for over 7 years without a single reported engine failure from every car that was mfg, an unbelievable statistic, and listed for over $53,000, check out these facts on Google. The coupe is in excellent condition inside and out, with no rust, dings, dents, never smoked-in and garaged. The color is a rare Lexus Shadow Metallic with matching beige leather interior showing no wear or tears, carpet and headliner is perfect. In 1998 the SC-400 took on a great engine upgrade, featuring a hefty 290 horse power engine, with a terrific 25mpg highway. The vehicle has 112,400 miles on it. Now that´s less than 8,000 miles per yr., and we all know these cars run like a fine Swiss watch even over 300,000 miles plus. Most of the miles were highway, as I traveled monthly from Pittsburgh to Ocean City Md. Never missing a beat. Serviced several times at the local Lexus dealership, and otherwise worked on by mechanics that are well versed in Japanese motorcars, but only inspections and light scheduled services were performed, no major incident was ever needed on the vehicle.The car comes with a winter set of tires, and wheels, together with original Lexus rims and good tires all around. Newly inspected through December of 2012. THE FINE PRINT The radio is the expensive Nakimichi model w/ cassette player and works fine, BUT IT IS IN NEED OF AN AMP, AS THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE OVERFLOW TUBE IN THE TRUNK. A PREOWNED UNIT FOUND AT A SALVAGE YARD WILL COST ABOUT $275, AND TAKE ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO INSTALL. Also, the clear coat on the hood is just starting to lighten somewhat, and in a few years it would be prudent to have the hood repainted, $200 to $300 dollars, it´s not needed now, and I have a terrific young man that would do a superlative job in one day. You can invest in this car for only $ 8,600 . Please look these vehicles up on Auto trader & Cars.com and you´ll find it to be the lowest priced best shape vehicle out of only 8 or 9 for sale through-out the country.
