When the car was new, the owners (our friends) had me drive the car down to FL in the fall and bring it back in the spring for three years, so I know exactly who took care of the car for many years (Lexus dealers at both ends) The car was then sold to their adult daughter, a judge, in 2002 and when her parents passed their newer Lexus to her, the daughter offered the 1999 Lexus to us. The lin-dash Lexus GPS works great, but is not upgradeable to newer routes. We seldom notice that and we have a Garmin dashmount GPS backup anyway. The stereo/cd system is fantastic, with many speakers to fill the cabin with your favorite music. All owners have kept the car garaged. We have followed the owner´s manual service recommendations to keep the car well maintained. Non smoking owners with no pets or children. We´ve used 87 octane regular since we bought it and during longer trips, we usually get 28-31 mpg at speeds of 78 mph on Interstate roads. City is never lower than 23 mpg. The right lower side of the car was repainted and the windshield replaced in 2009 due to MNDOT overspraying white paint during a very windy day. Our insurance paid for it and it was an excellent paint job. The original spare tire is is unused and mounted on a matching alloy wheel that was moved from the front right because of curb scuffing. It is accident free. We have never had it into a Lexus dealer, as most all service shops can take care of it. Saint´s Auto in Princeton MN did the timing belt job, as their mechanics are Toyota certified. The struts and tires were done by Tires Plus in Elk River MN. We can tell you the car is in almost perfect condition. This lovely car will give you many miles of pleasurable driving. We have a clear MN title with no liens. Our reason for selling is that we just purchased a 2005 Lexus LS430 from someone who was elderly and could not drive anymore. We drive this Lexus to and from our MN home with no problems at all. Very comfortable ride, yet quick enough to handle any traffic problems with ease.There are more photos available and a free CARFAX report is available. I´ve owned the car for about 11 years now and have put mostly highway miles on it in the last five years while working all over the United States and Canada on various projects and with various companies. The car has 250k miles on it, but you´d never know it with how well it runs. I´ve consistently done the recommended routine maintenance and also have added ZMAX engine and transmission additives twice per year since I´ve owned the car, which dramatically reduces wear and tear on the engine and transmission. It has most of the factory upgrades, including navigation system, rear spoiler, upgraded sound system, CD changer, etc. The car has some small body dents and blemishes and the interior leather on the front seats is worn and torn. I use seat covers for the front seats, which hides the wear/tear. The moon roof might need a little tweaking as well. Kelley Blue Book value ranges from $5,153 to $6,578.
