Now the bad the timing belt and water pump is bad, you can get a kit on E-Bay for $140.00. I had the car checked out and there is no damage to the engine due to the fact that it is a non-interference engine meaning that if the belt breaks it will not bend any valves due to the fact that it is a rubber belt. This car has been good to me but I´m selling because I have too many projects and don´t have the time to deal with plus I want it to go to a good home. Due to the age of the car there are very minor issues like the drivers side inside door handel is broken and the hood and trunk stablizer rods which are simple fixes. Details: OK what we have here is a 1999 Lexus ES300. Just approaching 90,700 miles, very low for the year. Coming from somebody who loves sports cars, I thought I would never go to a luxury sedan. But I got behind the wheel with thing with an open mind, and I could not believe how fast I fell in love with this car. It drives so smooth, the stereo system is stock and is actually very loud and sounds great. It even has a 3 liter V6, so you can pass people up no problem. The interior and exterior is 7/10, The leather has a little wear but no rips or anything major. The sun-glass holder is broken, but other then that is the only thing actually broken. The exterior has standard wear and tear, some rock chips on the hood, as well as a little damage along the passenger side running board that you really can´t even notice. Mechanically the starter was replaced around 80k, and the oil has been changed by me personally every 3k miles. I´m very open about the car, so email or call. I was told by previous owner that the motor was replaced by an ls400 (same motor) with only 118 but i have no proof of that and don´t really care because it runs out great anyways.Since my purchase of vehicle i have had new timing belts replaced and head gaskets new cold air intake, mass air flow censor i lowered it and put some good looking chrome rims on it. had the windows tinted it has blue HiD head lights oh yeah it was just painted last year. ... it also has a aftermarket cd player with i-pod hook ups in the front of it ...im sure there is stuff i am missing but you get the point....
