Very fast. 17´ Chrome Rims.Spoiler, Transmission can change from Normal to sport mode and snow mode (which keeps the car in 2nd gear) I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle,it was originally a New Mexico vehicle, I have personally owned this car going on 3 years now.Black paint is still deep and glossy, body is in very good condition for being 14 years old. Not more than 3 dings small dings and you have to look really close. Only rust on car is a little around the top of the windshield, which is unoticeable unless you are really looking for it. Very few scratches. Leather seats, carpet and the rest of the interior is in very good condition no rips, stains or burnholes on any seats or carpet.Pros: Transmission has been flushed, New throttle body assembly (it is very common that these go bad) Coolant flushed, New power steering rack about 2 years ago. Oil changed every 3,000 miles with synthetic. New yokohoma tires ($200 a piece) with probably less than a 1,000 miles on them. HID lights about 2 years old. New rear brake pads last fall. A.C. blows freezing cold air. The ventilation system in this car is the best I´ve ever had.Steering wheel has started to vibrate between 55mph and 60 mph I dont know if my tires need to be balanced or its needs an alignment or one of the weights may have fallen of the wheel not sure but im selling the car as is.Previous owners son tried to replace the cd changer in the glove box the new one is obviously larger so he tried to cut out some plastic and it doesnt look good. I never open the glove box so it doesnt matter to me but lexus does sell a replacement plastic piece that you could get cut to match the new cd changer, I only listen to my ipod so I´ve never bothered with it. (Note I can get a pic of the glovebox on request, I´m probably making it out to be worse than it is but I´m very picky. CD changer has since stoppped workingThat being said this car has awesome looks and has great power with some minor quirks as noted above, You rarely see these cars on the road anymore especially one that shines like this one!People never ever believe me when I tell them that this car is a 1998! Details: 168k miles and they only ever made auto´s sadly but it has a sport mode and you can turn the traction control off, and the engine is a 2jzge 3.0L inline 6 same as a 94+ supra (non-turbo) but it is fairly simple to swap in a 2jzgte (twin turbo straight six) and could be done for around 3000 + labor.on to the bads, mechanically the car is perfect but cosmetically there are a few issues:the leather on the inside of the car is pretty rough and there is no stereo. the window track in the front drivers side door is messed up and the window doesn´t want to go straight up when you roll it up you can use your hand to keep it straight however and it´ll roll up fine.there is no glass in the rear passengers side window but there is a piece of plexi-glass in there it does not leak or anything but it won´t roll up or down.and the mufflers were cut off so its loud but it sounds pretty mean, the previous owner did it and one of them will bolt back on but the other one was cut off with a hacksaw (dual exhaust) but i have both mufflers just one needs to be welded back up.and finally there was a huge custom sound system in the trunk that was removed so the trunk is gutted. I have a radio i can include in the sale and the car really does ride very smoothly, and the engine runs great and would be a good reliable car that gets 24-26mpg but cosmetically it needs some things, i was looking into getting those problems fixed and it was gonna cost me around 500-600 for the parts and then i was going to sell it (asking about 3,000 for it) But in this current state, I´m onlyt asking 2200 obo cash talks and i´m open to all kinds of trades let me know what you have mostly looking for a motorcycle or a dsm but will consider anything (boats, 4wheelers, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, cars trucks, engines or tools) My name is Jabu and my cell number is (314) 707-736NINE (call or text) or email through this posting. The engine has been replaced along with the exhaust manifold, cat. converter.The car has little to no rust, The only rust spot is above the passnger rear wheel.
