Details: My 1997 Lexus LS400 Runs! But has a blown head gasket. My mechanic told me this but I am not interested in putting the money or time into it to fix as I have a 9mo old baby and need a car now. Again, it does run!! There is a website the offers to send you the just head for $900 for both sides (shipping included). However both heads on this car are not blown, only 1 side. So if you wanted to just do that 1 it would cost just $450 plus labor. If you or someone you know can do the labor then this is even a bigger steal. You could fix this car for CHEAP and turn around and sell it for double FAST. High miles (250,000) but for a Lexus I´ve heard it´s not a big deal, two tone paint white with grey bottom, good body, automatic 4-speed with overdrive, grey leather interior, nakamichi premium sound system, huge moonroof, cold ac, cd player, all power, I also have 2 sets of tires. The tires I purchased with the car and also I have a set (4) of 85%-90% new tires & chrome (lexus) rims that I will sell for $300 if you purchase the car . . $4,789 is the Kelly Blue Book on this car with 250,000miles in ´fair condition.´ Fair condition includes substantial wear on the interior, mechanical problems and engine leaks. This car has NONE of of these problems! :) The interior is actually in really good condition with no rips or stains in the leather & there are zero mechanical problems or engine leaks. I have tried to be as honest as I can explaining the cars condition. Please feel free to call with any additional questions. Also if you say you are coming by to look at it please come.... It is a great luxury car for anyone to have, and I have loved it. It runs great!! I have invested the following into the car: two front tires, new brake pads, new brake caliber, seat covers have been put in, new FM modulator, and a brand new paint job! The AC works but must be charged before used. There is a small leak around the valve cover, but I have purchased the part to fix it, and that part will be included with the car. The mileage odometer did not work when I bought it, but there are around 160,000 miles on the car, and a new motor was put in the car in 2010! I´m asking $3800 OBO for it, and its definitely worth it!! Great car, Great buy!!!
