Details: 1999 Lexus RX300 AWD WITH 154,300 miles. Salvage Title from Arizona. It needs a few things, but is in very good shape, and with a little work could be a very nice everyday vehicle.We moved to VT last spring, bringing the Lexus with us. We kept it for the winter, but the winter was so mild, we didn´t drive it. This car has no rust - it lived in AZ all its life. New tires in March 2010, at 128,503 miles . The front struts were replaced at the same time. The timing belt and water pump were replaced. It has a new battery. New plugs, tune-up, and alignment.Here´s what´s wrong - when you accelerate, it will go smothly and quickly, unless you floor it - then it lags. The computer code says it´s an oxygen sensor. The rear latch is broken. This has caused a short in the electrical system, and needs to be fixed - it wears the battery down by trying to lock the car all the time, I think. If I´m not going to drive it within a day, I pull the fuse for that circuit and the battery stays charged. There is a small leak in the rear engine seal.The paint is peeling a bit, especially on the bumper covers. There is a bit of damage on the drivers side of the vehicle - nothing too serious, and it´s pictured.Still, it´s a great car to drive - smooth, quiet, with leather interior, sunroof, cold A/C, 3.0 L 6 cyl,24 valve automatic with O/D. Power seats with memory. There are a couple of places on the drivers seat that need attention, but there are no cuts or splits in the leather. Great stereo with 6 CD changer. Roof rails, and factory floor mats are there, but dirty/worn. The carpet is in great shape.If you´re handy, this would be a great car for you. We bought a new one, so this one needs to go. Details: Priced to sell. We have recipts for 15,000 dollars worth of work down over 10 years!! Regular work nothing major, tires, oil changes, timing belt changes, etc. This car has been exellent to me, It has just over 189,000 miles. it starts up everyday drives very smooth and has all the power you´ll ever need. The interior is very clean. The driver seat is showing fatigue a couple rips, but all other seats are perfect and the drivers seat is very comfortable. The exterior is in fair shape. Front bumper is good so is the rear with some scratches and scraps but no major dents. in fact only two dents are really there one on the truck and one on the driver side quarter panel(dime shaped very small). The rear passenger tail light was hit one day from someone backing into it in a parking lot, but nver had the time to fix it. All lights work so i never bothered replacing it(not that bad). The Front is looking very good and no issuses. I drove the car for 4 years so far and its been my daily driver. I love it I just need to sell it before i move to florida. ( need money for the trip and rent). I used this car on the highway back and forth from newhampshire to vermont(2hours both ways) when i lived in Plymouth, New hamshire, so it has seen recient highway use and i have to be honest...it couldn´t be any smoother. it loves the highways and its even good when the road twists. very fun car to drive.The issues are. The battery is alittle low on power. Just needs a new one. Jump starts right up. The fan is brand new and helps alot (the new fan pushes alot more air then the old hydralic fan) The new fan is electric and runs all the time very smooth. The powersteering has improved huge, very easy and smooth. And the car has gained alittle power. Much easiar to climb steep hills and pulls very strong in the passing lane. The thermostat is also brand new and is This car doesnt need much but the things it will need are a windshield. the rear taillight might be ok its been ok so far. And last thing. driver door on the inside must have come unhooked because it wont open from the inside but from the outside it opens normal. (i usally open the window open the door then close the window before i get out).If you want a set of wheels to go with this car i have a beautiful clean set of is300 wheels to go with this car. color matched paint with machined face, looks like this car should have come of the factory line wearing them. They fit the car perfectly with no rubing or noice, car handles much better and more stable when equiped. They look great it´s a 17inch wheel which is the perfect mix of style function and driveablity. doesn´t look oversized, it looks perfect. Contact me if you are interested you won´t be dissapointed. For the money its a steal.The picture of the wheels are the IS300 wheels Im talking about the only difference is, the insides where its not machine polished its the gold color of the car(looks veryyy good) and the black car represents what the car looks like when installed(mine looks alittle cleaner when installed you can see for your self if you come for a drive).
